Afterschool Tutoring Program, Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM-6:00 PM
Local college students will provide academic tutoring for students (ages 8-19) Monday-Thursday after school. Snacks will be provided for every student. Other activities will include trips, motivational speakers, public speaking lessons, computer literacy courses, etc.
Mentoring Program, Saturdays 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Every Saturday, kids get the opportunity for a small field trip with adult mentors. Trips have included tennis lessons from a tennis pro, hiking with a broad street runner, and private tours of new housing projects with a member of PHA.
Feed Philly, every third Saturday of every month, 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Strawberry Mansion Learning Center and Feed Philly are partnering with American Muslims for Hunter Relief to provide halal healthy meals for the community. We will provide meals on every third Saturday of every month, at 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Summer Reading Program, July 6th – August 29th
This summer, Strawberry Mansion Learning Center will be hosting a summer reading program. Kids will be read to on a daily basis, and will take books home to read as well. Additional activities, such as field trips, pool days, tennis lessons, and bookstore visits, are also planned.
